Which Web Services Does Your Business Need First?

A company with plenty of visits and a broken booking form has a different problem from one nobody can find. Before buying a package of web services, choose a customer journey and identify the first step that fails.

Find the bottleneck

Follow one real path from search, referral, or ad to inquiry. Check whether the visitor reaches the intended service, understands the offer, and receives confirmation. Ask the person answering inquiries whether the leads fit. Write one problem statement specific enough to test.

Match the service to the work

A missing page for a real service may call for search and editorial work. A slow quote form may need development. An unfamiliar offer may benefit from a demonstration and a limited campaign. When analytics are incomplete, agree on what counts as a qualified inquiry before paying to increase traffic.

Specify what a delivery looks like

Ask for the pages or flows to be changed, the person responsible, access requirements, and how you will accept the work. For example, “a mobile quote form that delivers the service type and postcode to our team” can be tested. Keep ownership of the domain, website accounts, and documentation with the business.
